Digital work of our production site will be carried out on J Platform i.40!
As a matter of fact, with our slogan “We Design the Future”, we carry out production in the electronics industry as Procesla. While focusing on the existence of our business in the sector, we also carry out our digital transformation studies together and start our MES project in this regard.
In addition, we will start our processes with the Communication Software product ManageMind in order to include all documentation and quality management infrastructure in our business within the organizational culture.
What is your aim in realizing the MES project?
The most critical point we expected from MES systems was to provide traceability and efficiency. Determining the material requirement for the production order and creating automatic purchase orders, creating input quality criteria and giving quality approval, addressing and counting processes in the warehouse, and monitoring which machine the products are processed on by the management of the production site, maintenance processes in case of malfunctions, monitoring machine performance and OEE values of production, keeping the shipment deadlines of orders under control, and many other processes such as being able to be monitored through this system are included in this project. It is an important issue for us to manage the energy and work required for the improvement of our processes and R&D studies and which components we will produce our products with, with healthier data.
As a newly established factory, Procesla started to work with both Logo in the ERP channel and İletişim Yazılım in the MES channel with the establishment of the factory.
The solution-oriented approach of the team with different perspectives together and the selection of a digital solution in an infrastructure that will adapt to the dynamism of production have always been a priority for us.
After our research and discussions, we started working to determine which product would provide such a solution. We started working with the İletişim Yazılım Logo collaboration technological product J-Platform i4.0 and the İletişim Software product ManageMind, which we met through the İletişim Yazılım dealer channel.
What issues did you take into consideration in the solution you chose?
With such a software, we aimed to control all production departments from a single point. As a company that we have seen working in a similar sector before, we decided to continue our path with a software company that keeps its R&D and forward-looking studies under control. At this point, the collaboration between İletişim Yazılım and Logo made us very happy.
İletişim Yazılım's MES solution, CoralReef, covers a large part of the i4.0 product. When we examined the solution, we saw that it was a product that could meet our expectations in terms of planning, production management, inventory management, maintenance management, etc. in order to minimize the problems we may experience in our current structure.
Thanks to CoralReef's technological infrastructure, we saw that it could be modeled according to our business without the need for software knowledge and could be adapted in a similar sector or independently of the sector before. CoralReef, which is offered to businesses with a reporting tool, is at a level that can provide a rich analysis capability in the dashboard and reporting section.
As a Communication Software R&D Center, it has taken a close look at what digital solutions can be provided for other channels that trigger production in businesses and has dedicated itself to innovation. It has 25 years of technological experience in its sector.
What do you aim to achieve with i4.0 when your project is completed?
Based on the CoralReefMES structure, we aim to use the i4.0 structure in the entire production area. We will use CoralReef for all parts that the ERP system cannot provide solutions for and for instant data to be collected from the production area and machines. We plan to manage the entire process with CoralReef from the entry of our raw materials to the shipment of our products. We will carry out processes such as Material Management, Asset Management, Demand Management, Purchasing Management, Sales Management, Budget Management, Finance, General Accounting on the Logo side. Ultimately, actual cost accounting is targeted with the integration of Logo and CoralReef.
We will create warning mechanisms with CoralReef. We have to determine the blocking elements in case of incorrect data entry or incorrect production. In this way, we will be able to intervene quickly. Thanks to the technological infrastructure of CoralReef, we will send warning e-mails for all strategic situations.
How will you proceed in your future work?
There will definitely be new needs that arise in production and R&D. It is inevitable for us to work on a digital platform for these. In fact, it is important for us that the person and the machines speak a single language and are analyzed. As a newly established business, making comparisons with past performance data will be a continuous and clean data worksheet.
